Sunday services in person
Time: 10:30
How to find us: We are at 464 Virginia Ave., Morgantown in the Wiles Hill Neighborhood. Find some coffee in the back and pick a seat!
After the service: There is a potluck after the service in the Wiles Hill Park or the church fellowship hall depending on the weather. You are invited to stay whether or not you have brought food to share. Sometimes the food combination is odd, but there is always good conversation.

Who we are
Welcoming
Morgantown Church of the Brethren welcomes all of God’s people. You are welcome to full participation in the life of our church regardless of your age, background, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, or life situation.
A peace church
As followers of Jesus, we take on the difficult task of loving our enemies. We choose to carry the cross rather than the sword.
Thoughtful
Sermons and discussions incorporate solid biblical scholarship and perspectives from around the world. Our pastor is a scholar with an international reputation who is also involved in local activist organizations.
Caring
We believe that the heart of the church is our love for one another and for the world around us. We support one another, pray for each other, and give our time and talents to the community around us. We promise to support and care for you whether we agree with you or not.
Intergenerational
At MCOB, you will have the opportunity to hold babies, talk with the kids, listen to the wisdom (and foolishness) of the elders, and interact with every generation in between.
Quirky
We are a small band of ragtag folks from a bunch of different backgrounds who try to follow Jesus.
